Volunteer on a Game Reserve

You will become involved in our lion breeding project – work closely with this magnificent predator - truly the king of the beasts. Feeding and cleaning of enclosures, nursing sick animals with our resident veterinarian, rearing of the cubs. We have lion, buffalo, tigers, leopard and spotted hyena in our breeding program as well as a crocodile breeding project.

Capture and Translocation of Game

You will also be involved in the capture and translocation of game.  Assist with the mass capture by helicopter or the darting of the more endangered and expensive species such as Rhino. Game Management. You will be taught how to build new enclosures, erect and maintain fences , electrification of fences, general maintenance and taking care of sick, injured or orphaned animals. We operate a cattle ranch as well where our goal is to breed quality animals for meat productions. You will be required to take care of the herd, pregnancy testing, vaccinations and treating sick or injured animals.

Wide range of Activities

We offer you a wide range of activities to broaden your horizons. Being able to work in nature with all of it’s creatures is truly an awarding experience. As we are also in the hospitably industry your duties will include guest interaction, game drives and being able to give informed lectures about our fauna and flora.
