Mabulani Game Reserve: TREE TRAIL

Tree Trail

Mabulani Game Reserve is surrounded by lush bushveld vegetation such as Boekenhout, Vaalbos, Wildesering and at least 35 other tree species.

Mabulani has an Indigenous Tree Trail of 1.2 Km with 80 identfied trees comprising of 50 species.The Mabulani Tree List was compiled on 23 February 2003 by Riaan van Zyl, mainly depicting trees in the mountain. He is the chairman of the Leeupoort Raptor Protection Project.

Rian camped under a large Olienhout tree for a weekend and identified trees in a 2 kilometer radius.
